At St James prayer is an integral part of the school day. This page shows some of the prayers the children take part in at different times of the day. At the start of each day we say our school prayer as a class and at the end of the day we say the Lord’s prayer.

At St James we encourage all pupils, staff and visitors to write prayers for our prayer tree. Children write prayers for our worship times and members of our worship group read them out. They also lead our prayer times at the start and end of each day.
